ABOUT
Hi! My name is Yuan (Yorick) Cao. I'm a BFA2 student at the California Institute of the Arts. Before Calarts, I spent one year at Ringling College of Art and Design.
My interests in animation include storyboarding, character design, screenwriting, and directing.
I have two years of working experience as a set designer for the 2D animated feature film named The Legend of Hei by HMCH Anime studio, which is based in Beijing, China. Besides animation, I've also been an art portfolio teacher for a private tutor. In the summer of 2021, I opened my own portfolio development class via the online education platform.
Currently, I’m based in Santa Clarita, CA.
